The amount of energy from the sun is very high compared to the overall energy requirement and consumption in the country. It is estimated by industry experts that millions of homes around the world are going to switch to solar energy in the next few years. Let us switch our home to solar home today!!!! This is the right time to make use of this gifted resource. And this clean and enormous source acts the substitute for other non-renewable sources of energy which pollutes our environment. |

Solar Panel is the collection of several individual solar cells (Energy Particles called Photons) which converts the sunlight into electricity.
This Conversion is due to the photovoltaic effect. This Solar Panel is also called as photovoltaic panel or photovoltaic module. The nominal output voltage of a solar panel is usually 12 Volts and output watts are 100 to 320 watts. The number and size of Solar Panel required is determined by the available light and the amount of energy required. |
|
Solar panel arrays can be sized to meet the most demanding electrical load requirements.
These Solar Panels are need to be mounted on the roof, ground and where the sunlight is directly available. The current obtained from the Solar Panels called DC power which are not directly used to the home appliances. For this purpose, Solar Inverter is used. We can directly use the DC power from the solar panels for some specific applications like cell phone recharger, LED night lights. |

The AC (Alternating current) can be used to power loads in your home or commercial building etc…. The Solar Panel gives DC (Direct current).
The DC current cannot be used directly for the home appliances. To convert DC to AC, Solar Inverter is used. Solar Inverter is the most important component in the solar power systems. The Converted AC power is used for running your gadgets like the TV, Microwave, and Refrigerator etc...

|
Grid Tie Inverters convert the direct current generated by the solar module into grid-acceptable alternating current.
There are a few basic types of Solar Inverter are Off Grid Inverters, Grid Tie Inverters, Battery backup Inverters, Micro Inverters. Micro-inverters are the latest in the solar industry which is small & compact in size and yet are packed with a lot of performance & promise. They incorporate all the features of any string or central inverters.

Solar water heating system is a best alternative method for heating the water. Solar water heater usually contains the solar thermal collectors, water tank, interconnecting pipes. The solar thermal collectors collect the solar energy and heat the water circulating in the pump. The shielded water storage tank is used to store the hot water.
This shielded storage tank prevents loss of heat and keeps the water hot for the whole day use. This water is used for |

Lighting is one of the largest consumption of energy. Solar lighting will save great amount of energy for us. Solar Lighting system is the lighting resource / device that operates using the Light energy available from the sun to provide lighting during night time. Our solar light system consists of a solar PV module, a battery & a luminary with very high efficient electronics all mounted onto a pole with necessary hardware & cables.theatre, halls, common space Lightings, Commercial |

Why is solar energy more important in india?
The fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas cannot remain the dominant sources of energy forever. Whatever the precise timetable for their depletion, oil and gas supplies will not keep up with growing energy demands. Coal is available in abundance, but its use exacerbates air and water pollution problems, and coal contributes even more substantially than the other fossil fuels to the buildup of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
For a long-term, sustainable energy source, solar power offers an attractive alternative energy in India. It is environmentally clean, and its energy is transmitted from the sun to the Earth free of charge.
How Can Solar Energy Help People In India?
Solar energy is more important in India because most of the days (300-330 days per year) in India is Sunny. On only land area, The solar power reception is 5000 Peta watt-hours per year (PWh/yr). The daily average solar energy incident over India varies from 4 to 7 kWh/m2 with about 1500–2000 sunshine hours per year (depending upon location), which is far more than current total energy consumption. India has a great potential to generate electricity from solar energy and the Country is on course to emerge as a solar energy hub. The techno-commercial potential of photovoltaics in India is enormous. Solar Energy is attractive because it is abundant and offers a solution to fossil fuel emissions and global climate change.
Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh Climate is generally hot and humid. The major role in determining the climate of the state is played by South- West Monsoons. Summers in Andhra Pradesh last from the month of March to June. During these months the mercury level is quite high. In the coastal plain the summer temperatures are generally higher than the rest of the state. In summer temperature generally ranges between 20C and 40C At certain places the temperature as high as 45 degrees on a summer day. The average temperature in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India is 25.9 °C (79 °F).
Hours of sunshine range in andhra is between 3.6 hours per day in July and 10.2 hours per day in February. On balance there are 2877 sunshine hours annually and approximately 7.9 sunlight hours for each day.On balance there are 0 days annually with measurable frost and in January there are on average 0 days with frost.
So Solar Energy perfectly fits for the Andhra Pradesh climate.
Kerala
Sun-drenched shoreline, caressed by perpetual blue waves that adorn the endless beaches, sheltered by the green groves of coconuts that paint a shying borderline of natural harmony. The average temperature in Kerala is 27.0 °C (81 °F). The temperature in Kerala normally ranges from 28° to 32° C (82° to 90° F) on the plains but drops to about 20° C (68° F) in the highlands. Temperature during Winter in Kerala is maximum of 28°C and minimum of 18°C. Avg Temperature during Summer in Kerala is maximum of 36°C and minimum : 32°C. The Average temperature during summer and winter in Kerala is perfectly fits to use Solar Energy.
Tamil Nadu
The geographical location of Tamil Nadu is such that the climatic condition shows only slight seasonal variations. The average temperature in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India is 28.6 °C (84 °F). The range of average monthly temperatures is 8.5 °C. While April-June is the hottest summer period with the temperature rising up to the 40ºC mark, November-February is the coolest winter period with temperature hovering around 20ºC, making the climate quite pleasant. These Climatic conditions perfectly suits to use solar energy for electricity.
Karnataka
Pleasant and charming Karnataka lures you into its calming nature trove. The state's long and colourful history, and the many forts, temples, mosques, and churches make Karnataka a great place. The average temperature in Mangalore, Karnataka, India is 27.1 °C (81 °F). The range of average monthly temperatures is 3 °C. The warmest average max/ high temperature is 33 °C (91 °F) in April & May. The coolest average min/ low temperature is 22 °C (72 °F) in January & December. This annual weather conditions perfectly helps to use the Solar Energy in all places.
